You've got to be kidding. My daughter does my longarm work and I pay her for the batting, supply the backing, and the cost for her work averages from $200 up to $500 for quilting a queensize (100 x 100) quilt. The quilting alone should be a minimum of 1 or 2 cents a square inch for a generic meander pattern up to 5 cents an inch for intricate work (feathers, etc.). Pricing for piecing the top would depend on the complexity of the pattern.
