I got the treadle cabinet, its currently holding my Singer 237 zig zag machine. Its a nice smooth treadle, it just needed a bit of oil. It won't fit the 99K, its for a full size head. I need to find some hinge pins for it, at sometime in the past they were removed. :([/quote]
Here's an update of my previous posting.
I have been sewing with my new treadle cabinet all evening, its a joy to sew with , no annoying clanking. :-D
I have a metal straight leg Singer treadle cabinet and it clanks. I've tried adjusting it and it doesn't help.
