I wonder if you could use a fusible on the back of the fabric you are using then when you cut the star you could fuse it to a larger square then applique around it like we do with Dresden Plate blades. I think I'll practice somemore to get more "weight" on my stars and give this a try. I love applique and it looks like the star has some promise if I can get it a bit heftier. :lol:
Yeah I am sure you could use fusible applique for the stars, but question, what do you think Martha used? LOL Maybe she knew something back then that we don't? She is the one that showed them how to do the star, what else did she have in her book of tricks which she must have kept up her sleeves. Interesting.........
