I'm from Red Oak, TX and have been sewing and quilting since I was in the 5th grade. I say quilting in that I love to piece the tops but have difficulties in quilting the quilts. I am in a wheelchair and it is very difficult for me to sandwich the quilts with the batting and backing and squareing it off. If anybody has any ideas to make it easier, please let me know. My husband and I collect Vintage Singer Machines. We have around 25 at the present with the large majority of them in working condition. My favorites are the Singer 15-91, 401A and the Featherweight 222K. We have 2 grandchildren with another on the way. I love sewing for the grandkids.
