Here in the UK we call them charity shops, but I guess the idea is the same in as much as all profits go to various charities, so not only are we getting some fantastic bargains but others less fortunate than us are being helped as well.
I usually shop there for mens shirts as well, especially the solid colours. I'm so glad that men are now wearing pastel colours in shirts, lemon, pink, lilac, blue etc. They are great for scrappy quilts. I have also bought lots of cotton sheets for backing or foundation pieces as well. The other week my sons jeans needed a patch on the seat, in the local dept store one denim patch cost £3.99, I found a pair of new jeans in the charity shop for £1.00, guess which one I bought?
