I laughed when I read your post!!! The belly band he wears is a piece of fleece that wraps around and fastens with velcro. I use the maxi pads as liners in case there's an accident. I get the belly bands from Happy Jack Dog Diapers at this website:

They work great, are washable and very long lasting, and Curley doesn't seem to mind them at all. In fact, whenever I put a fresh one on him, he stands still for me just wagging his tail. It's really helped him and us enjoy his old age! BTW: That's him in my avatar (w/o a belly band).
