What I did was put the warm and natural batting down first, then the backing and the star spin on top of the batting, right sides together, Then sew around the star spin and leave an opening for turning. The opening needs to be just large enough to put yor hand in. Then turn it right side out and poke out the corners and then hand sew the opening closed. Then you can put a few pins in it and then go ahead and quilt it. I used invisible thread and just quilted from corner to corner. I have mine on the table also. your is so pretty with the green in it. Mine has some brown in it and my mother wants one for Christmas, but I'm not sure what colors she wants. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
