I know the feeling well. I'm also a writer, so sometimes I resort to that when I feel the need to be productive (granted, it doesn't produce something you can hold in your hands really, but it will eventually!).
Alternately I have days like today where I feel like quilting, but DH is home and I want to be near him (and I'm not much of a hand piecer...).
