Okay - it's done and I'll give it to her tomorrow. I ended up with:
clothespins - one pulled apart to use as a seam pusher, some of them numbered to hold rows together
needle threaders
basting safety pins
T-pins
new bobbins and one of my diabetic test strip bottles to put the filled ones in
painters tape
colored chalk and a pencil sharpener with a large hole
spray starch
pages of tips printed off of this forum
binder clips to hold binding in place
We work together so I have an angel food cake with fruit to share with our lunch buddies.
I could have used all of your ideas, but had to stop somewhere!
