Just beginning but I guess I too will be self taught. I've always admired anyone who could quilt and did watch some quilting shows on TV back years ago. I know a lot of people who quilt but not well enough to ask them for help. I live in an area with many Amish families all around, their quilting talents make my jaw drop!!
I'm learning from all of you, you've become my teachers and very good ones, I may add!
I took Home E/C all through junior and senior high school. I've always been into crafts...sewing, knitting, rubber stamping, jewlery making, you name it.
However, since finding this board I have given up those things and am just concentrating on learning to quilt. It's become my favorite thing to do.
