Wow some pretty awesome ideas....
I think I have a few....my iron has such a small water hole that I was forever spilling water....I went to the gadjet store and bought two clear mustard/catsup bottles...no more water spilling ....whaaaaa hooo

I also collect decortive vases....I have all kinds of sizes shapes and colors in which one holds scissors ...one holds rulers...one holds pens and pencils....you get the idea...

I have floor to ceiling shelves (my DH made for me)... on the top I have a rod closet that is the longest Lowes had it can adjust to the size you want...(I think about 12 ft is the longest)....I added shower curtain hooks (metal ones) and on to them is these clippy things from the dollar tree that pinches the fabric kinda like a cloths pin....on this I can clip my quilts ...I have a flag pole with a Large hook screwed onto the end that I can get ahold of my shower hooks and pull the quilt till it is straight and I can get a nice photo so I can share with all my Quilting friends....:-)

my best tip would be to buy 3 of everything and leave one at every spot where you would need it...that way you don't run back and forth looking for the snippers...seam ripper...scissors...etc....this has really been a big time saver for me!

of course the painters tape...but I make handles for my rulers....easy to pinch and get a hold of...I always use about 1/8" thickness...about 6 to 8" long pinch the center and flaten it out on the ends and stick to my ruler...works great for me.

My husband made me 3 ruler holders from recylced deck ...the new kind that is to last forever..he had some left over pieces he brought home to show me....oh honey....could you make me something like this....I showed him a photo....so he made all my family one...:-)...yep he is a keeper...:-)

Oh I have an old desk that had a hole cut out in the top...that is where I put my machine...this is so awesome....I have a flat top which makes it fantastic to sew on....I would recommend that to everyone....that flat area is soooooooo nice....not to mention all the drawer space

guess that's it for now...keep tham great tips a coming girls....we all love them!
