when i bought the book i took it down to a local copy shop, they cut the binding put 3 ring holes in it put it into a binder for me (with the cover and back on the front and back of the binder, it's totally complete) for only $11 now i can open the binder and remove the pages to be copied for my paper piecing. i've done this with all 3 of my carol doak books, sure makes it easier than trying to get the pages to lay flat in the book.
I've had my books spiral bound and while you can't take the pages out, they lay nice and flat when you are reading directions, and work to photocopy, too.
