All done!! I turned SistahDebbra's block on point with matching batiks, and embroidered birds, and a bird 'poem' on the points. (A Crabtreehill pattern.) Debbra's block looked like a tree to me, so originally I was going to do apples until I stumbled onto the bird pattern.
