I am a soup queen - love, love. One that is always a big hit: Ham Hock/Green Pea. Throw in bag of dried peas, simmer in broth with ham hocks, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, tyme, salt/pepper until peas tender. Remove meat, break up peas (alittle to thicked). Add meat, additional carrots, celery, onion and simmer until done.
