I was at a the PIQF Quilt Show this weekend and met a long armer that I'm considering using for a quilt top I'll have finished soon. She was telling me she only uses polyester thread because cotton breaks too easily if you use your quilt. She gave the example of a child pulling on their quilt.
I've always heard you should use cotton thread and now I'm not sure if I should send me quilt to her. I don't know if I want it to be quilted with polyester thread. What do you guys think?
