Hi and Welcome from Massachusetts,

I have been learning about quilting for about 1 1/2 yrs. I started a our church. They have a Prayer Quilt Ministry. We make quilts ahead of time ,and people fill out a request forms for people who are going thru a tough time. It is usually based on someone struggling with a disease or serious injury . The person in need does not have to belong to our church or even believe in God . Wwe do the stitching and God does the rest .
There is always a large cross on the back. Hopefully when they wrap the arms of the cross around themselves they will feel the love of God.

I like the way I got introduced to quilting.
I am sure You will grow to love this messg board . It is as addicting as quilting itself.

Peace....Alice
