When my granddaughter was little, I had her pose for a photo. I had it printed and then had her do a handprint (with poster paint) on a piece of paper. We combined the photo, handprint and a ittle poem in a frame. http://www.preschoolplaybook.com/200...rint-poem.html

We also put photos of her in either tiny handmade or bought frames for Christmas ornaments each year. (Magnets are easy too!) She has also hand- stitched pillow-style pincushions, but boys might not like so much. Bookmarks are also fun to make---using cardstock, stickers, or little photos. (Recently she helped mold soap for her mom!)
