So talk of the cutting. The ease of this is that you can do how ever many strips as you want to. As long as sewn they match the big side.
A cut 6 1/2 cut on the big side you can cut 3 2 1/2 inch strips for the other side.
The strips I found were cut 1 1/4 inch so the large side was cut at 2 3/4.
