Tube quilting is making strips with the side seams done. Put the top and back, right sides together and a thin layer of batting, sew the side seams, turn right side out and you have a tube. Zig zag the pieces together and finish off the ends. No need for tying or quilting, all is done. A set of Fasturn tools comes in handy for this, it has five sizes of tube turners, from spagetti strap size to a couple inches wide.
