I made the spiral tree skirt using a free online pattern (available at sulky.com and other places) and a 10 degree wedge ruler (9 degree also works). It is quilted with metallic gold, using rayon thread in the bobbin (as per Sulky instructions) and a metallic needle...no problem, I'm happy to say.

The lap quilt was made using blocks I won in our guild's block-of-the-month (all participants made a 6" block according to instructions, their own choice of tan and green fabrics). I only got 13 blocks from the guild, so I made some more, and alternated them with the leaf fabric. The brown blocks have a leaf I FMQed.
