You will notice in a lot of patterns named for period events - Civil War, Underground Railroad, Rebel Brass, Union Blues - the blocks can be any block the designer chooses to put such a name to.
They are not necessarily truly etched-in-stone historically correctly named, and not necessarily FROM that era.
