A few years back I taught a girl's sewing class. For Christmas we exchanged fat quarters--everyone was to bring a fat quarter for each girl. I think I had six in the class so every one was to bring 7 (one for the teacher too! :D ). The challenge and they had until May to do this, is to make something, any thing they wanted but they had to use all the fat quarters in their project. Now this assignment was given with any of us know what fabrics we were going to get. Here is a picture of what the girls came up with. The girl third from the left made pants. It was a fun project! Two of the girls couldn't make it for this picture. I am second from the right.

2 made quilts, one pants, me and one of the girls made dolls.
