I bet you there is tiny thread, almost invisible, caught in there some where. I have touched 2 Designer 1 and both had ended up for service. The first one belongs to my best friend. I was helping her figure out the machine and the embroidery arm was defective. The second one was a loaner while my machine was out for service and the little motor to fill the bobbin was permanently engaged making a horrible sound. Both went back for repairs. Is such a sensitive machine.
