I hadn't planned on quilting the two layers together. I hoped to just slip the lining inside of the jacket and then join together at the edges with binding.
Guess if the consensus is that they need to be anchored together, I would probably have to quilt them together before I put the front, back and sleeves together and then the seams would have to be bound on each side.
The pattern doesn't address how it goes together so I'm afraid of making a big mistake.
I am losing patience and would just like to have it finished in this lifetime!!!
