I don't know if anyone remembers my "what do you do when you're not in love" post...I was making a quilt for my MIL and as it was coming together, I was falling more and more out of love with it. Everyone suggested I keep on going. Some suggested I put it away for a little while. Well I *had* to put it away because Thanksgiving was coming and we hosted (I was using my kitchen as my sewing room!). So I put it away, did a few small projects in the meantime, and just pulled it out again this morning. I have one more row of blocks to sew and attach to the top and I'll be pretty much done...and I LOVE IT again!!! Once I get that done, I'll post a picture. I'm regretting not buying enough fabric to do a border, now. I'd planned against a border. I might go buy more so I can do one (I was at the LQS the other day and really should have bought it then, I saw it there, but I wasn't back in the frame of mind for this quilt at the time). I think it needs it, but I'll ask for some suggestions when I post the picture.

So thank you again, everyone! I'm back in love. And I KNOW my MIL will just ADORE this quilt.
