What a wonderful web site. I am an old/new quilter, having started years ago, I took a "life" break and have recently begun again. Isn't it funny how much comes back to you, like riding a bike. I am in the process of making a quilt in honor of my parent's 65th wedding anniversary. I am using the half-square triangle element key from Barbara Johannah's book Crystal Piecing. Using the chart I am incorporating family birthdays, and the anniversary date. It's been challenging, but it is coming along beautifully. It reminds me of a kaleidoscope in jewel tones. I plan on presenting it to them in December. Wish me luck!
