All I can say about cooking/quilting, is, I HATE to cook, get no enjoyment from it and do it quickly and haphazardly, and yes, I have a husband who is part martyr and part cook.
On the other hand I love quilting/sewing, I find it relaxing, fulfilling and I enjoy it!
