Yes, those were simpler times but they were also safer times. Back then kids could go out to play and they didn't have to watched like hawks to protect them. We would spend all our free time half a block away at the playground and dad just had to whistle to let us and all the kids in the neighborhood know it was time for dinner. Those were the days!
