This is a quilt which I have just completed. It was designed by a member of my quilting group, and a number of us did it as a sort of block of the month. We started in February. The blocks are all machine pieced, but the applique is all hand sewn, as is all the quilting. It is mainly quilt in the ditch, and the applique is sewn on with a blanket stitch. I hope you all like it, as it has turned out to be one of my most favourite. The colour is best on the first picture.
I have also lately made the tote bag, which apart from the straps, was all sewn together by hand.
