I did a quilt using this block, ( I did it freehand too... but can see it would be eat to paper piece) but to throw in a real kicker, I twisted ever other block the other direction... it turned out really cure ,if I say so myself. But, BOY of BOY was getting it set in my little pea brain how to "work backward" from how I twisted the first set of blocks was really fun.... DH stirred clear of the sewing room with all the grumbling coming out of that room.... smile... he is such a good sport, and he has so much to put up with ( me)... LOL
