I have an Elna SU that I've had since 1973. that's my only machine. I would like to buy something newer but get lost when I start looking. Quilting or embroidery. I would love to do both, probably more quilting than embroidery but really confused when it comes down to brands. As a kid I learned on a Kenmore which I wish I still owned. Why I bought an Elna in 1973 I don't remember except a lady I use to babysit for had bought one and we always talked sewing. Listening to all of what everyone has to say makes me even more crazier on deciding.
