I agree, a sewing machine is a "tool" not a luxury...I knew someone who considered the sewing machine to be a luxury as well. He had golf clubs, a boat, computers, motor bike, movie screen etc and always had enough money for beer....I now have 4 machines and use them all without any feelings of guilt - just wallowing in my 'luxury'...
