I have a 1260. I bought it new, so its maybe 12 years old. Maybe 15. I love it. I would not give it up for anything. Now I just use it for piecing and I have used it for FMQ in the past. I used to sew for my kids, so I did use it for a lot of other types of projects at one point.
I can not touch it for months at a time and it sews perfectly when I turn it on. It tolerates any thread and gives me a consistently beautiful stitch. I keep eyeing some of the new machines out there but cannot imagine loving one as much as the one I have.
