There is a brand new site -- still in beta it's so new, actually -- called FindMyFabric.com which I just heard about yesterday. You can (or will soon be able to) download your picture of your fabric to the site and, using special imagining recognition techology, the site will be able to search an enormous number of fabrics available online for you. Check it out.
