I read something recently that said one way to thank or acknowledge our service-men and -women was just to quietly place your right hand over your heart and make eye contact and keep going. That way you don't intrude, but still the person knows that you are showing appreciation. I think it's a marvelous gesture and I'd love to see more people adopt it.
