Hi Judylg, I made 3 crayon quilts. For my Grtgrnd.kids. There is a paint medium you can get to put on the colored part of the fabric. 2 of my grnds qiults got medium and the other didn't. Eriks Dinosaur quilt is in S.Carolina. Couldn't get it back to apply medium.. the other 2 has been washed several times. The quilts will be 2 yrs. old this Christmas. I haven't seen Eriks when he comes to GA. for a visit they forget to bring it. I would like to see it so I can tell if it faded very much.. His mom says some has and I used the Fabric crayons on his. The other 2 reg. crayola crayons. I have a link to Caydens Sports Quilt and a picture of the Medium you can get it at MICHAELS or the internet. I hope this helps you .
