I have a "new deal" treddle sewing machine, and I don't know anything about it, but would LOVE to be able to do a basic quilt on, just to say I did it. I also have this old "feather weight"? Which I've seen a couple ladies bring to a quilt retreat, and again, have no idea what do to (threading, bobbin, tension). If you know of a link, or tutorial, I'd appreciate it...or could walk me through some information... and how to properly use the peddle to stitch smoothly. I will be using it ONLY for a scrappy quilt, so at least if I mess up (in the beginning) I won't be upset wasting expensive material. This is exciting, just hearing you make your quilts on this machine, I've got a goal now for this winter...try the machine out for sure. Thanks
