Being a west-coast Canadian, I had never heard "oof-da" until I moved here. Now I also find myself using instead it of @%#. LOL
I say it all of the time. A friend gave me a tote a few years ago that has Oof Da printed on it!
Being my grandma was Norwegian I believe that is where it originated.
The Swedes say Uff Dah all the time! I am half Swede and #1 husband is half Norwegian, so we are uff dah'ing all the time!!!! The rest of us is German ! Edie
