Mine is just a simple pinwheel, no pattern required. This was one of my first attempts at free motion quilting & the centers of the pinwheels were so bulky with seem allowances & all that quilting that I added matching buttons to each pinwheel to disguise the bulk. I know now not to cross the intersection every time but I didn't know then. It won first prize in the machine quilting category at my county fair.
