Hi everyone, I want to make quilted potholders for presents so I made one gave it to my daughter because I don't cook. Cannot rember last time I cook or what I cooked anyway. She told me that it did not keep the heat away from her hand. I used one layer of insul-Bright, silver ironing board fabric, warm and natural batting. What did I do wrong ? Please help. Thanks. Evelyn
