Feline Fanatic - your quilt is stunning. Did you do the inset method with Y-seams?

I made a quilt for my hubby years ago and I sewed the individual blocks by machine. It was a bit of a pain because you have to start 1/4" in from the edge AND stop 1/4" before you get to the other end. I endedup marking all my seams so I could see the dots.

A few weeks ago, I found some leftover blocks and sewed them into a pillow top by hand. That seemed easier - but I would not want to do that on a large quilt. It's in the pictures thread under Pat's Pillow. Let me see if I can dig it up.

Which method interest you most? If it is putting individual blocks together, I can probably give some advice - but I am not at all familiar with the strip piecing.
