The pattern does look like its 40's or 50's but they are making alot of reproductions now so its hard to tell just from the design.
I just measured it and it's 36 x 144.

Hey Z, you're right it would make a nice quilt. My quilting skills are limited, so I might put it up for sell to see if someone more talented than me wants to make something with it.
