Me, personally? I would never put the ones that say "union" in a quilt. So, those are like a non-fabric to me. :D
Otherwise, it seems like there are 3 distinct colorways in this line...the red, the blue, the gold. Oh, four I guess, with the brown and olive.
I would use the blues with the lightest ivory, or the reds with gold, or reds with ivory. The brown I would use as the dark for either the red, blue, or gold.
I'm not a historian though...I'm just saying what I'd like. :D
