[quote=AlwaysQuilting]When the bobbin ran out of thread I took it out of my Pfaff and I was brushing the bobbin area clean. I noticed a piece of thread caught between the two outer parts of the bobbin race (is that what it's called?).
When I turn the wheel these two metal rings go around....the thread is caught between them and I can't get it loose.
I tried to find a way to take it apart like I used to do when I had my old cheapie machine. But I can't find any screws to it, and it won't just pull off.
Does anyone know how to get this thread loose? I'm in the middle of alot of Xmas presents. I don't want to take it into be serviced right now. It's sewing OK BTW.
Check your manual, I have a Pfaff and got mine out, but don't remember just how. The scary part was getting it back in!
