Your tablecovering is gorgeous and what a wonderful heirloom.
My grams made each of her grandd's a crocheted tablecovering and all the grandkids a wool granny square afghan before she died. We still all cherish these. Of course, my DH decided to wash mine one day and now it is half the size it used to be. Someday I will try to resize it, but for now, I have the memories.
