Brilliant! this way you are more precise with the glue. i bought the tips, and only use one. this would of been so much better. some have used the tip/end of a mechanical pen. same idea.
i know that some people think it is to much trouble to glue baste/and press.(my quilt friends) they would rather pin or clip the binding, and it works great for them!
but this works for me. my binding looks so much nicer when done this way.
i lower the ironing board to the height of my kitchen table and sit and do this,with some of the excess quilt on the table..i actually lower the board and sit on the couch sometimes and press..easier on my back!
i have also put two kitchen chairs on the back side of the ironing board, to keep the quilt /or large fabric pieces,off the floor. ( i have dogs)
this board is so great, so many will to share!
