She actually got rid of the machine because she told me it couldn't be fixed. I've lived with guilt for 50 years. I recently asked her about it. Hope you let go of the guilt now. That was an awful thing to do to you. You have my sympathy. I am so glad you didn't let it keep you from sewing and quilting.
