Cut both side of the wedge ruler and the top of the ruler.
I cut all of the first set moving on to the second set of strips. Each cut is 3/4 of in inch shorter than the last. I then use the "left overs" and cut the rest of the small wedges. Hope this helps. PM if you need more help.
The hardest part is the cutting. The sewing is easy cause nothing has to "line" up. I used a 10" wedge and left the very longest off. You may need to be a little flexible when you put it together.
