I am the proud owner of a new Viking Designer Diamond, and I retained my Designer SE (actually traded mine in, missed it so much that I bought someone else's trade in).
Well - today my friend and I were in our local Viking store,found today was the last day of the sale on the Ruby (not really a sale but a large trade in allowance on MSRP) ....So my Diamond now has a new little sister - as I traded my SE in on a Ruby!
I am so excited. It has the design positioning like the Diamond for embroidery, 10" throat plate - and all of my feet and hoops will work on both machines.........
