you need to make yourself a small sandwich (like maybe 6" square, top, batt, back...use your spray adhesive and try it out...there are literally hundreds of them on the market...so no one can tell you your's is ok to use, only you can determine that. problems that may arise? gumming up your needle, will have to clean the needle, or change the needle frequently; may stain the fabrics, may make your (quilt) as stiff as a board, may not wash out. so if you want to see if it will work make a little practice piece, spray it, quilt it, wash it, see what happens.
